Chapter 14 A Breeze of Spring
ain and Listen Snow also nodded continuously.Cloud Qianyue glanced again at the towering stack of account books. She felt inexplicably annoyed. If she were to take over, wouldn't her future good days...Chapter 14: A Spring Breeze Once
Ye Qian threw out a sentence and left the room, her feet lightly touching the ground as she floated away from this courtyard.
Yun Qianyue watched Ye Qian's figure disappear and wondered if Night Tianyi had arrived in Yun City Why would he come Could it be that he has some connection with the Eastern Sea Kingdom’s princess She remembered that Night Tianyi said he wouldn't let her kill the Eastern Sea Kingdom’s princess. Did she come to Yun City to pick up the princess of the Eastern Sea Kingdom If so, does Rong Jing know about this news
"Little Miss, should I go and find out where the Eastern Sea Kingdom’s princess is staying" Hua Luo asked.
Yun Qianyue pondered for a moment and shook her head. "There's no need. We'll set off immediately to Mo Tian Cliff." If she stayed in Yun City for some time, it would be difficult for her to escape to Mo Tian Cliff if Night Tianyi discovered that she was also in Yun City.
Hua Luo nodded and signaled outside; Old Qiu brought the food inside and placed it on the table before retreating again.
Yun Qianyue sat at the table, eating a simple meal with Hua Luo. After the meal, she told him, "Get me a set of fitting men's clothes!"
Hua Luo understood and nodded, leaving the room to retrieve an ink-colored brocade robe for Yun Qianyue shortly after.
Yun Qianyue took off her light purple Ruanyan Luo and put on the ink-colored robe. She undid her Ruzhu hairpins and scattered her hair, then stood in front of the mirror to quickly apply some makeup. In no time, she had transformed from a delicate maiden into a handsome young man. Because she naturally possessed masculine charm, her transformation didn't appear overly feminine, making it difficult for those who weren't too familiar with her to notice that the elegant young man was actually a small woman.
"Little Miss, your disguise technique is truly marvelous!" Hua Luo praised Yun Qianyue. She hadn't used any of the disguising items he had brought along with the ink-colored robe, yet she managed to completely change her appearance just by doing some quick adjustments in front of the mirror.
"This isn't a disguise; it's makeup. As long as you don't meet people who are too familiar with you, they won’t notice. The main benefit is that it’s simple and doesn’t waste much time. Disguise techniques can be quite troublesome and harmful to the skin," Yun Qianyue said as she walked towards the door and told Hua Luo, "Let's go!"
"Alright!" Hua Luo nodded.
The two left the courtyard with Old Qiu leading their horses. Yun Qianyue and Hua Luo mounted their steeds. Hua Luo, as before, led them through back alleys to an undisclosed route that wound around several times until they reached the southern gate of Yun City.
"Little Miss, Seventh Prince is at the south gate!" Hua Luo walked ahead and upon turning a corner saw Night Tianyi standing alone on his horse at the south gate. He quickly pulled back on the reins and retreated with his horse, whispering to Yun Qianyue behind him.
Yun Qianyue also looked towards the southern gate where she saw Night Tianyi standing calmly in front of it, as if waiting for someone yet not quite like that. He was still wearing a snow-green brocade robe and showed no signs of traveling fatigue, but his horse was completely drenched with water reflecting in the sunlight, indicating it had been running for some time. She thought to herself that she had just arrived here when Night Tianyi followed her shortly after. This meant he left not long after her from the capital city too, also having traveled all night. She didn’t believe that Third Prince’s disguise would be detected by Night Tianyi in the middle of the night and followed her; there was only one explanation: he had some kind of business to attend to, likely related to the Eastern Sea Kingdom’s princess.
"Little Miss, what should we do The south gate is the essential route out of the city!" Hua Luo asked.
"We'll go through the north gate. I know a mountain path where we can take another route," Yun Qianyue said.
Hua Luo nodded in agreement.
Yun Qianyue glanced at Night Tianyi one last time, turned their horse around and started heading back along the original path with Hua Luo following behind. After a stick of incense’s worth of time, they arrived at the north gate where no familiar faces were present. As before, Hua Luo handed over the pre-arranged pass to the guards who inspected it then allowed them passage.
"Wait!" At this moment, someone ran out from a quiet street and appeared at the city gates in an instant. This person blocked Yun Qianyue and Hua Luo’s path and, after quickly looking at both of them, pointed angrily at Yun Qianyue saying, "You heartless man! After one night of springtime pleasure, you left me behind"
Yun Qianyue was taken aback. She looked at the person in front of her who appeared to be a youth around her age but dressed in tattered clothes that were dirty and almost colorless, as if he had rolled in dirt. His hair was messy with several blades of grass stuck in it, his face equally soiled yet still quite handsome, now glaring angrily at Yun Qianyue. She raised an eyebrow without saying anything.
"Last night you said that if I followed you, I'd enjoy all the wealth and glory there is. Now you want to leave me behind No way! When we shared one night of springtime pleasure, it was my first time…" The youth pointed angrily at Yun Qianyue, his anger clear on his face.
Yun Qianyue's mouth twitched; she had never agreed to such a thing. She continued looking at him without speaking.
The guards at the gate widened their eyes in surprise. They looked from the noble youth sitting regally on horseback to the tattered one who was angry and couldn’t help but show an expression of realization. It wasn’t uncommon for noblemen's sons in this era to indulge themselves with young men or male entertainers. Although the boy here appeared dirty, he still seemed like a small handsome man whom that noble youth had taken interest in overnight. After their night of pleasure, they left him behind as they lost interest. This tattered youth clearly came chasing after him angrily and unwillingly.
"Utter nonsense! How could my lord take an eye on you" Hua Luo raised his brows, thinking that this was the city gate so he couldn’t delay any longer; if Seventh Prince approached from the south gate it would cause trouble. Furthermore, this person seemed too suspicious to appear here and obstruct Little Miss's path at such a time.
"So this is why you found someone new and left me behind" The ragged boy pointed at Hua Luo, angrily scolding Yun Qianyue, "You are such a fickle jerk! What’s wrong with me He simply dresses better than me. If you washed me clean, I would be more beautiful than him."
Yun Qianyue raised her eyebrows slightly and continued to keep silent as she looked at the ragged boy.
"Get out of my way!" Hua Luo pulled out her sword from her waist and thrust it straight toward the ragged boy.
"You have already defiled me, I can no longer be a person anyway, so dying is fine!" The ragged boy suddenly closed his eyes and stood still in place as if he had made up his mind to die. Although his face was dirty, his brows and the expression on his face were clear and delicate, showing an attitude of accepting death calmly.
Hua Luo's sword arrived at the young man’s neck. If the tip of the sword advanced another inch, the ragged boy would be killed instantly.
The soldiers guarding the city wall widened their eyes in alarm. Many pitied the ragged boy but none dared to step forward and stop Hua Luo. They knew that the youth sitting on a horse was either rich or noble; they were only lowly guards of the city gate.
"Stop!" Yun Qianyue noticed the sword’s tip breaking the skin of the ragged boy's neck, but he remained still as if nothing had happened. She called out to stop Hua Luo.
Hua Luo glanced at Yun Qianyue and stopped her hand immediately, withdrawing her sword back.
"Why won’t you let him kill me Either bring me with you or kill me! Otherwise how am I supposed to live on" The ragged boy suddenly opened his eyes, glaring angrily at Yun Qianyue.
"Take one step forward!" Yun Qianyue’s voice was very light as she spoke to the ragged boy. She managed her tone perfectly; it sounded slightly hoarse due to a change in voice during puberty, and no one would ever suspect that this voice belonged to a girl.
The ragged boy blinked in surprise, looked at Yun Qianyue, and took a step forward. However, he only moved a small step.
"Take another step forward!" Yun Qianyue said again.
Following her words, the ragged boy took another tiny step forward.
"Didn’t you want to go with me Why are you afraid" Yun Qianyue looked at how he had taken two steps but was still far from a regular person’s one stride. She raised an eyebrow in amusement.
"Who said I’m afraid" The ragged boy suddenly lost his temper and took a big step forward, immediately arriving before Yun Qianyue's horse’s head.
Yun Qianyue reached out her hand to lift up his chin. With her fair fingers, she pinched his cheeks and rubbed his eyebrows and eyes gently for a moment before turning to Hua Luo and saying, "Get me some handkerchiefs!"
Hua Luo handed Yun Qianyue one handkerchief.
"What are you going to do" The ragged boy suddenly stepped back.
"I want to see if you’re more beautiful than the person by my side," Yun Qianyue took the handkerchief from Hua Luo and said to the ragged boy, "Walk over here! If you aren’t as good-looking as I say, then I won’t let you follow me."
The ragged boy stood in place without moving, his eyes rolling around as he looked toward the sunlight.
Yun Qianyue was not in a hurry. She watched him quietly with her eyes.
"Young Master, Seventh Prince is coming from the north gate," Hua Luo glanced at the end of the street and saw a horse heading towards the north city gate. She leaned close to Yun Qianyue’s ear and whispered in a low voice.
"You don’t let me look, fine! But I won’t keep you if you’re this disobedient," Yun Qianyue kicked her horse's belly with her legs and said coldly as she put away the handkerchief. She was about to leave the city when...
"Wait a moment, I will show you!" The ragged boy took an immediate step forward and grabbed one of Yun Qianyue’s legs which was draped over the horse. It seemed he did not want her to leave.
Yun Qianyue looked at Ye Tianyi who was still some distance away, then pulled back on her reins. She slowly wiped the ragged boy's face with a handkerchief, starting from his eyebrows and eyes. Her movements were extremely gentle as she did so.
The ragged boy stood quietly in place, no longer angry or brash, as if he had even stopped breathing.
Yun Qianyue used a silk handkerchief to wipe away the dirt around the face of the ragged young man, revealing delicate and extremely handsome features. She suddenly stopped her actions, smiled at the ragged youth with a hint of sinister charm in her tone. Although her voice was soft, it sounded as clear as running water, "Indeed, you look quite good. Alright, I permit you to come with me!"
Although Yun Qianyue's smile was light, it seemed like plum blossoms emerging from frost and snow in early winter, instantly evoking a heart-stirring beauty. Even Hua Luo beside her was amazed but quickly regained composure by averting his eyes.
The ragged youth appeared to be bewitched, staring blankly at Yun Qianyue as if he had forgotten how to speak or move.
"Get on!" Yun Qianyue threw the handkerchief in her hand and stretched out a hand towards the ragged youth.
The ragged youth mechanically handed his hand over to Yun Qianyue.
Yun Qianyue gently pulled him behind her horse, then spurred her mount forward. The steed galloped through the city gate.
The guards at the city gate clearly saw the noble young man seated on his horse smile at the ragged youth. Everyone's hearts seemed to skip a beat. What kind of breathtaking smile was this It made everyone forget their senses. Following the noble young man leading the ragged youth out of the city, they all thought that it wasn't surprising for the ragged youth and the noble youth to insist on holding each other accountable after a night of passion. There are indeed certain people, regardless of gender, who would leave an unforgettable impression.
No guard at the city gate attempted to obstruct them. Hua Luo watched as Ye Tianyi approached from outside the northern city gate and followed Yun Qianyue out of the city.
"Stop them!" Ye Tianyi barked.
The guards at the city gate snapped to attention, looking in the direction of the Seventh Prince who had shown his jade token earlier. They were momentarily stunned.
"I said stop them!" Ye Tianyi held up the jade token of the Seventh Prince and shouted again.
Following orders, the guards rushed forward to intercept Yun Qianyue's horses. Naturally, they could not catch her or Hua Luo; the two steeds galloped out of the city gate at high speed without any sign that they had heard Ye Tianyi's command.
"Imperial Guards!" Not letting his horse slow down, Ye Tianyi barked again as he followed them out of the city.
As soon as he spoke, dozens of black-clad imperial guards flew out to intercept Yun Qianyue and Hua Luo.
"Young Master, are you going to fight" Hua Luo was taken aback.
"No fighting. Just keep close to me! We have to shake them off; fighting will only delay us. Ye Tianyi would catch up." Yun Qianyue's voice turned slightly grave. Even in such a critical moment, she did not reveal her female voice. She had the ability to quickly immerse herself into any character needed for a mission from another life, and unless absolutely necessary, she wouldn't expose herself.
Hua Luo nodded and spurred his horse to keep pace with Yun Qianyue's.
Cloud City’s city gates were different from other cities’; it had two gates. After passing through the first gate, they arrived at another gate. Instead of unrolling her Crimson Beauty Brocade, Yun Qianyue decided against it as she didn't want to expose herself. She tossed aside her reins and rode past the guards who had received orders to close the city gates quickly. The steeds galloped through the soldiers, leaving the city.
Hua Luo was impressed by his master's swift actions and followed closely behind, racing out of the city.
At this moment, Ye Tianyi’s imperial guards also pursued them using their light-footed skills; they were only a few steps away from Yun Qianyue and Hua Luo on horseback.
"Young Master, you go ahead first. I'll hold them off!" Hua Luo thought that it might be difficult to shake the imperial guards off. Otherwise, it would cause trouble for his master if she was stopped by the Seventh Prince.
"No need; a savior is coming," Yun Qianyue shook her head and smiled slightly.
Hua Luo turned his gaze forward and saw an all-black carriage approaching. Crafted of sandalwood, it exuded understated luxury. There was only one such carriage in the world, owned by Jing Shizi of Rong王府 (Rong Prince's Manor). He felt relieved that Jing Shizi had arrived at just the right moment; otherwise, to protect his master, he would have to use all the hidden Red Pavilion agents in Cloud City.
The two horses passed alongside the black carriage. Yun Qianyue reached out and grabbed the ragged youth behind her by the wrist, swinging him towards the carriage. "Prince Jing, do me a favor; take this person for safekeeping but remember to return him."
The curtains of the all-black carriage were abruptly pulled back as the ragged youth was lightly tossed into it.
Just as Xian Ge was about to make a move, upon seeing the Crimson Beauty Silk exposed on Yun Qianyue's sleeve, he immediately halted and looked at her in surprise. He thought that this was Miss Qianyue If not for him seeing the Crimson Beauty Silk she deliberately showed him, he would never have recognized her.
Yun Qianyue only exposed a glimpse of the Crimson Beauty Silk before, upon seeing Xian Ge no longer making any moves against her, she missed the carriage and rode off on horseback.
Hua Luo followed behind Yun Qianyue. He glanced at the all-black carriage. Because of the ragged boy being thrown into the carriage, the curtains were lifted up before falling down again. Rong Jing leaned against the carriage wall reading a book as his figure flashed past briefly. Hua Luo clearly saw that the young man was tossed inside the carriage and had been knocked around, but Rong Jing didn't even look at him once. He thought to himself that it was no wonder he was titled the Crown Prince of Jing. About the lady's voice, he probably heard out something and thus wasn’t surprised in the least.
At this moment, the imperial guardsmen arrived together all at once, missing the carriage as they passed by. Suddenly, a strong airflow came from inside the carriage, instantly casting up an air wall on both sides of the carriage. The dozens of royal guards couldn't withstand such a powerful force and their bodies hit against the air wall before retreating several steps.
Within this brief moment, Yun Qianyue and Hua Luo's horses had already galloped out over ten zhang far away.
Night Tianyi also arrived at close proximity at this time. He watched as the two horses walked away but didn’t go chasing after them instead reining in his horse’s reins, looking at the all-black carriage and raising his voice, "Crown Prince of Jing"
"Seventh Young Emperor! What a coincidence!" Rong Jing did not lift up the curtain. His tone was indifferent.
"Wasn’t Crown Prince of Jing supposed to be going to the East Sea to meet the princess Why are you here then This isn’t the route leading to the East Sea," Night Tianyi raised his brows, and the slightly high-pitched voice turned somewhat solemn.
"I received a message saying that the princess of the East Sea Kingdom is not with her kingdom’s entourage but rather traveling alone. She has already arrived in Divine Capital. Currently, she's here at Cloud City. To avoid making an unnecessary journey for nothing, I came here to welcome her," Rong Jing explained.
"The princess of the East Sea Kingdom actually made it all the way to Cloud City Is Crown Prince of Jing sure about this information The East Sea is in the east while Cloud City is in the south. How could a princess from the East Sea make it here Could it be that Crown Prince of Jing has misunderstood the message" Night Tianyi looked at the tightly closed curtains on the carriage. If he hadn’t mistaken, just now he saw the ragged young man entering Rong Jing’s carriage. When did he break his rule of maintaining a distance of three feet from others
"Is Seventh Young Emperor wondering if I misunderstood the message" Rong Jing gave a faint smile but his tone was devoid of any amusement, "Jing may not have Seventh Young Emperor's ability to turn clouds and rain, but this information might be correct. Otherwise, the reputation of the name ‘Rong Jing’ would be ruined." Upon hearing this, Night Tianyi suddenly laughed. "Only Crown Prince of Jing has the power to turn clouds and rain; he even knows that the princess from the East Sea is in Cloud City."
"Shouldn’t Seventh Young Emperor be reviewing government reports at Holy Sun Hall in the imperial palace, overseeing state affairs Why did you come here" Rong Jing changed topics as if he had raised his brows at Night Tianyi.
"There has been some trouble in Cloud City. I came to investigate it!" Night Tianyi said.
If that’s the case, then Crown Prince of Jing won’t disturb Seventh Young Emperor any longer! Rong Jing ordered Xian Ge, "Go into town."
Xian Ge flicked his whip and the carriage moved forward again.
"If Crown Prince of Jing is leaving, the person in your carriage needs to stay behind!" Night Tianyi blocked in front of the carriage. Xian Ge was forced to stop the horse carriage once more.
"Oh" Rong Jing raised his brows.
"This individual caused chaos by secretly entering many large families and officials’ mansions in Cloud City, hence why I came here," Night Tianyi said.
"Is there any misunderstanding The person in my carriage is a servant boy who accompanied me from the Glory王府 (note: this should be translated as 'Palace' or left untranslated if it's an official title). He would never have the ability to create chaos with shapeshifting techniques. How could he cause trouble" Rong Jing didn’t even look at the ragged young man and spoke falsehoods without batting an eyelash.
"Crown Prince of Jing is really good at making jokes; this prince saw that person come out of town, rescued by someone before being tossed onto your carriage. How did he become a servant boy who accompanied you from Glory Palace" Night Tianyi’s expression turned cold.
“Seventh Young Emperor must have mistaken his eyes! Rong Jing never speaks lies.” Rong Jing said indifferently. His words caused the ragged young man opposite him to sigh and he seemed to be looking at Rong Jing with wide-eyed astonishment.
"Crown Prince of Jing, a person who harbors chaos is detrimental to the governance of the country. Since you have official duties now, shouldn’t you understand these consequences" Night Tianyi stared fixedly at Rong Jing’s carriage.
“Of course I do!” Rong Jing said indifferently: “But I also understand that if we delay any longer and still can't find the princess of East Sea Kingdom, Seventh Young Emperor will also be held responsible.”
Night Tianyi pursed his lips and stopped talking.
"Since this person is a harbinger of chaos, Seventh Young Emperor should definitely bring him to justice. Don’t let him do anything that harms the governance of the country. Jing will take leave first." Rong Jing once again ordered Xian Ge: "Xian Ge, go into town! It’s rumored that the Wise Crown Prince of Southern Liang and the Ye Princess of Southern Frontier are currently staying in Cloud City as well. We should meet up with them."
"Yes, Your Highness!" Xian Ge looked at Ye Tianyi once and then drove the carriage around him to walk forward.
This time, Ye Tianyi did not intercept them but watched as Rong Jing's carriage left.
The all-black carriage entered the city very quickly and headed towards Drunken Fragrance Tower where the envoys from Southern Frontier and Southern Liang were staying now.
The soldiers guarding the city respectfully let Rong Jing's carriage pass, recalling that today was a special day when not only the seventh prince, who was said to be exceptionally gifted by nature, had arrived in Yun City, but also Prince Jing of Rong, whose talent soared above the clouds. There were also those two unknown young men who were either wealthy or noble earlier on. Soon after, they all turned their gaze towards Ye Tianyi, wondering why the seventh prince wanted to intercept those two young men. Those two young men had entered through the city gates in the morning and left less than an hour later within the city. They couldn't be the ones causing trouble in Yun City these past two days.
"You all may leave!" Ye Tianyi waved at the imperial guards.
The imperial guards thought Prince Jing was truly skilled, perhaps even more so than the seventh prince; they could not get past his first move. They looked at Ye Tianyi and seeing that he did not blame them for failing to intercept anyone, silently withdrew.
Ye Tianyi watched as the two men with their horses left in the distance before suddenly turning around and re-entering the city.
In the all-black carriage, Rong Jing continued reading his book. From the moment the ragged young man was thrown into the carriage to when they entered the city and drove a little way, he did not even glance at him, as if no one existed in the carriage.
The ragged young man stared fixedly at Rong Jing the entire time before suddenly asking, "You're Prince Jing"
Rong Jing did not raise his head; with a bland expression and voice, he replied, "Yes, I am Rong Jing."
"Prince Jing of the Rong王府" The ragged young man looked at Rong Jing's lowered brows and asked again.
"That's correct!" Rong Jing still did not lift his head.
"Who was that person just now" The ragged young man asked again.
"Seventh Prince Ye Tianyi of the Celestial Holy Dynasty," replied Rong Jing.
"No, I wasn't talking about him." The ragged young man shook his head.
Rong Jing raised his eyes to look at the opposite side where the ragged young man was; he slightly lifted an eyebrow.
The ragged young man's face turned red as he suddenly lowered his head, his voice becoming low, "It's...the person who threw me into your carriage just now..."
Rong Jing's eyes flickered but he did not answer.
The ragged young man waited for a moment without hearing Rong Jing speak. He then raised his head to look at him and asked again, "Who is he What's his name"
Rong Jing gave the red-faced cheek a bland glance before shaking his head, "I don't know."
"You don't know" The ragged young man was surprised. "He said he needed your help and threw me to you; how could you not recognize him but still help him"
Lowering his head again to continue reading, Rong Jing replied, "Yes, it's enough that he knows me; he will come when the time is right."
"When will he come then" The ragged young man asked anxiously.
"Since I don't know him, how would I know when he'll come" Rong Jing turned another page of his book with delicate fingers made of jade.
"Then let me find him!" Suddenly, the ragged young man stood up and reached out to lift the curtain to get off the carriage.
"You'd better not move. Didn't the Seventh Prince just say that you were the one causing chaos among the major gates of Yun City If you go out and are caught by him, I won’t save you again," Rong Jing didn’t even raise his head as he warned her.
The ragged youth paused in movement, furrowed his delicate brows, and then said, "I’m not afraid!" With that, he was about to get off the carriage.
"Are you sure that leaving now will help you find him" Rong Jing floated another sentence out.
The ragged youth paused again in getting off the carriage, his brows twisting even tighter as if hesitating.
Rong Jing didn’t look at her and continued reading, also not speaking any further.
The ragged youth pondered for a moment before sitting back inside the carriage, looking at Rong Jing with furrowed brows and incredulously asking, "You really don’t know him How is that possible"
Rong Jing didn’t respond.
"What an odd person!" The ragged youth saw that Rong Jing treated him like air, glared at him with a sniff, and harrumphed.
Rong Jing still did not answer but turned another page of the book. His expression was calm, his gaze indifferent.
"Really boring!" The ragged youth looked at Rong Jing for half an hour before uttering a sentence as he leaned against the carriage wall and closed his eyes. After some time, it seemed like something occurred to him because he unconsciously smiled. He then opened his eyes and asked Rong Jing with a smile, "It’s said that Sky Sacred has five most handsome men—Yuantian Gao Yang, Snow Robe Jinhua Prince Shi of the Jing Clan, Qiu Chun Moon, Huamao Chunsong Seventh Prince, Wuming Jun Wang Xiao Rangwang who is as瀟灑飛揚 as a devil, and Liangrui Taizi with his桃花之貌and flowing beauty. And lastly, Yun Shizi from the Yun王府with his淡漠秋水氣質卓然mannerism, who is now the Southern Border Princess Consort. Now that I’ve seen you and the Seventh Prince, although I haven’t met the other three men, none of them seem to be the one who just threw me into the carriage. He has a spring snow-like appearance with an ice heart and jade soul, extraordinary nobility, unique grace, yet there’s no mention of him in all of Sky Sacred. Why is that"
Rong Jing was about to turn another page but paused.
"It’s said that the current Young Master Wenhui from Wenbo Duke Manor just returned from Tian Snow Mountain and looks extremely handsome as well. He wasn’t known earlier, so no one knows him. Is his name Rong Feng Is he the son of Wenbo Duke Manor" The ragged youth asked again.
Rong Jing didn’t answer. His jade-like hand gently turned another page in the book.
"No, it’s said that Wenhui and Rong are from the same lineage. If he is Rong Feng, then how could you possibly not know him" The ragged youth raised his eyebrows at Rong Jing, but seeing no reaction from him, he continued, "So either one, he isn’t Rong Feng, or two, you’re lying. After a pause, he added, “I never thought that the Prince Shi of Rong would be someone who tells lies without blushing. I was clearly thrown into your carriage, but you said I’m your book boy. And that Seventh Prince didn’t stop you at all, really funny."
"Funny" Rong Jing suddenly raised his head and looked at the ragged youth with a raised eyebrow. "Do you want me to take you to the Seventh Prince right now To let you taste the disaster of prison"
The ragged youth immediately fell silent.
Rong Jing glanced at him, saw that he was obedient, and ignored him to continue reading.
After a while, seeing that even though Rong Jing threatened him, it didn’t seem very intimidating, the ragged youth said, "If he isn’t Rong Feng, could he be Yun Li who just received his title as the Young Master of Yun Manor Or is he the Fourth Prince Nite Tianyu of Sky Sacred The Fourth Prince is rumored to be somewhat sinister and shouldn’t be him. Then it must be…"
"You’re too noisy!" Rong Jing interrupted, giving a command to Xian Ge, "Take him away!"
The ragged youth stopped speaking and immediately asked Rong Jing, “Where are you taking me”
Rong Jing didn’t even glance at him. Xian Ge responded from outside the carriage, pulled up the curtains, grabbed the ragged youth’s collar with one hand, and dragged him out of the carriage. The ragged youth shouted as Xian Ge took out a kerchief to block his mouth. He then carried him lightly on his feet and left the carriage.
Even though there was this change, since the driver had disappeared in front of the carriage, the horses pulling it were unaffected and continued moving forward.
The sun in Yun City rose high as the day began to grow lively and bustling.
Rong Jing glanced at the now quiet compartment, suddenly threw down his book, closed his eyes. Although his face was still pale, there was a hint of darkness to it. It wasn’t clear if the carriage interior had become too dark due to the curtains or if he naturally had this shade in his complexion. After some time, he suddenly smiled, like a snow lotus breaking through snow fog and blooming. He softly muttered with an emotionless voice, "Cloud Shallow Snow, you’re well… everywhere peach blossoms are blooming!"witness made everything clear."That's all I have to say!" Night Tianqiong concluded and looked at Yun Qianyue earnestly, “Sister Moon, did what you just said hold true”Yun Qianyue raised her eyebrows,...
