Cloud Qianyue felt that she should speak frankly to Old King Yun about this matter, so she asked directly.
The old king's chopsticks paused for a moment. Then his expression turned stern as he angrily called Cloud Qianyue an "ugly brat", saying, "Rotten girl, who do you say your father is Don't tell me that after not seeing that boy come back, you don't even know who your own father is! Is the identity of our ancestor going to be forgotten tomorrow too You're a damn fool!"
Cloud Qianyue carefully looked at Old King Yun and said seriously, "Grandpa, I'm being serious! I'm not joking with you!"
"Do you think I’m playing around with you" Old King Yun smacked the table forcefully, causing it to make a loud thud. He was furious as he shouted back, "Are you saying that you are really this stupid You are Cloud Qianyue and your father is my son."
"What are you so angry about I'm just asking," Cloud Qianyue said slowly to Old King Yun while looking at him. "This makes me think that you’re trying to hide something with this show of anger."
"What truth There's no such thing as the truth! Say one more word, and don’t be surprised if I break your legs!" Old King Yun glared at Cloud Qianyue in a rage.
Cloud Qianyue curled her lips and waved her hand dismissively. "Forget it, I won't ask anymore. You should also stop acting like this. Are you not afraid of choking to death if you get angry"
Old King Yun glared at Cloud Qianyue with blazing fury in his eyes.
Cloud Qianyue looked down and ate her food. If before she wasn’t certain, but now that he was acting this way, she was one hundred percent sure that the State Preceptor of Nan Liang Kingdom was truly her father while the Cloud King was not.
The old king stared at Cloud Qianyue for a long time. The anger in his eyes subsided as he suddenly asked, "Rotten girl, why did you suddenly ask about this"
"I just remembered and casually asked," replied Cloud Qianyue while eating.
The old king snorted. “Don’t try to fool me. Although I am getting older, my mind is not yet senile; it hasn’t deteriorated so much that you can easily deceive me with a few words.”
Cloud Qianyue pretended she didn't hear him and remained silent.
"I’m asking you a question!" Old King Yun slapped the table, causing it to shake vigorously.
Cloud Qianyue ignored him as usual and continued eating her meal.
"Stop eating! If you don’t talk, get out of here!" Old King Yun was infuriated by Cloud Qianyue's behavior.
"Fine, I’ll leave," said Cloud Qianyue, putting down her chopsticks and walking towards the door. She thought that while in another life she had been taught to respect the elderly and love the young, when she came to this world, it was thoroughly destroyed. Some old men were not at all endearing or worth respecting for their age; why should she show them any respect This old man was the most unappealing old person she had ever seen. The old man in the Glory王府 (Honor王府 seems incorrect here since "Glory" doesn't fit well, but I'll keep it as is per instruction) was much better than him.
"Stop right there! You can’t leave!" When Old King Yun saw that Cloud Qianyue really intended to leave, he shouted at her again. But she just pretended not to hear and walked towards the door. He said with some irritation, "Come back here; I’ll tell you."
Cloud Qianyue paused for a moment, then turned around after adjusting her expression.
The old king glared at Cloud Qianyue and said angrily, "You brat, your audacity is increasing!"
"Grandpa taught me well! If I didn’t grow more audacious, I wouldn’t be able to survive," replied Cloud Qianyue as she slowly sat down again, picking up her chopsticks to continue eating.
"I can only tell you this: You are from the Yun family and a legitimate daughter of the Yun王府. Therefore, stop thinking about those unrelated people who aren’t part of the Yun王府," Old King Yun said while staring at Cloud Qianyue. After pondering for a moment, he snorted.
Cloud Qianyue paused with her chopsticks, asking, "What do you mean by that"
"What else does it mean Your roots and your ancestors are all from the Yun family. So you too belong to the Yun family; there is blood of the Yun王府 flowing through your veins. You can’t change this in this lifetime—it’s impossible for you to take on another surname," Old King Yun said angrily.
"What about my brother" Cloud Qianyue asked again.
"Your brother naturally belongs here too; both of you were born from the same mother," replied Old King Yun.
Cloud Qianyue nodded. She was indeed a daughter of the Yun王府 and she did belong to this old man in front of her. Since he was so certain, then it meant his father belonged to the Yun family as well But not Cloud King himself. She smiled and asked, "Is that all
"Is that all There's nothing else!" Old General Yun shook his head.
"You call me back just to say these two sentences" Yun Qianyue raised her eyebrows.
"What more do you want to hear" Old General Yun blew his beard again.
"I want to know who my father is," Yun Qianyue stared at Old General Yun's eyes, paused for a moment and said word by word: "He’s not the current Prince of Cloud. Who was he in the Cloud王府 What status did he have there"
"No status!" Old General Yun looked displeased.
"Or shall I say it, you nod or shake your head instead" Seeing that Old General Yun seemed extremely unwilling to bring up this topic, Yun Qianyue’s gaze flickered and asked him.
Old General Yun did not speak.
"Was my father the twin brother of my current father" Yun Qianyue began asking.
"No!" Old General Yun shook his head.
"Then was my father a collateral branch of the Cloud王府" Yun Qianyue asked again.
"No!" Old General Yun shook his head.
"Then is my father the brother of my current father" Yun Qianyue asked once more.
"Not at all!" Old General Yun shook his head again.
"So, was my father truly a legitimate descendant of the Cloud王府, while the current Prince of Cloud isn’t He’s an impostor," Yun Qianyue continued to ask.
"None of it is true! Stop asking. Just know that you’re a daughter of the Cloud王府 and my granddaughter!" Old General Yun harrumphed, then seemed reluctant for Yun Qianyue to continue her inquiries, gesturing dismissively at her: "Get out quickly. Every time you come, you make me angry. I’m annoyed just seeing you."
"Grandfather, aren’t you curious why I suddenly came to ask these questions Now that you’re kicking me out, do you not want to know" Yun Qianyue raised her eyebrows.
"I don’t want to know. Get lost quickly!" Old General Yun waved his hand as if shooing away a fly, urging Yun Qianyue off.
Yun Qianyue pursed her lips and saw that she wouldn’t get any more information out of him now. However, today's visit wasn't entirely futile; at least she knew that the Imperial Tutor was her father, meaning he must have come from a Cloud王府 background with some pressing reason for leaving and becoming the Imperial Tutor of the Southern Liang.
"Get going quickly!" Seeing Yun Qianyue didn’t budge, Old General Yun waved his hand to urge her again.
"I’m already leaving! No need for you to chase me out," Yun Qianyue laid down her chopsticks and stood up, turning around to walk away.
Until she left the old general’s courtyard, there was no sound coming from inside. She stopped and looked back, rubbing her forehead. What kind of mess had happened back then The Imperial Tutor had left her with four words, but her grandfather refused to talk about it. It appeared that what happened in those days must have been something extremely covert; concealed by someone secretly, making it hard for her to find out.
"Qianyue, why are you here" A voice came from ahead, footsteps rushing towards her.
Yun Qianyue looked up and saw the Prince of Cloud approaching quickly. He looked like he hadn't slept all night, his face worn out with exhaustion. She suppressed all emotions and called out coldly: "Father."
"You didn’t go to Prince Shi" The Prince of Cloud arrived near her and stopped to ask Yun Qianyue, wiping the sweat off his forehead somewhat desperately.
"I did, just came back. I thought it had been a long time since I visited Grandfather, so I paid him a visit," Yun Qianyue replied.
"How is Prince Shi's injury" The Prince of Cloud asked.
"He was poisoned but luckily got treated in time. He’s fine now, but he’ll need to rest in the manor for a few days," Yun Qianyue said.
“That’s good.” It seemed that the prince let out a sigh of relief. "I didn’t expect such an incident would happen at yesterday's birthday banquet. Fortunately, His Majesty was rescued by Prince Seven and is unharmed, but he will also need to rest and recover in bed; otherwise, the consequences could have been unimaginable.
Yun Qianyue twisted her mouth and did not speak.
"Qianyue, do you know about the imperial prince's mansion being ransacked" Upon seeing that Yun Qianyue was silent, the Cloud King asked again.
"I know. I just heard it." Yun Qianyue nodded.
"After the emperor woke up, he flew into a rage and without investigating the cause, declared the imperial prince guilty and ransacked his mansion. This time, the imperial prince is probably done for. He is currently being held in the Heavenly Prison. It's likely that he will be deposed as an absolute certainty. If there are no unexpected events, the seventh prince will be appointed as the new imperial prince. If the emperor’s days are numbered, the imperial prince must marry early. Otherwise, if he observes three years of mourning for his father and cannot get married, it is not conducive to having offspring. The emperor would never allow that. You... Since you and the seventh prince currently have a marriage agreement, you might be..." At this point, the Cloud King glanced at Yun Qianyue’s expression before stopping, changing his tone as he sighed, "Father knows that you and Prince Jing are fond of each other, but Prince Jing has a marriage contract with a princess from the Eastern Sea Kingdom. Although it's been over 100 years since then and there have been no news from the East Sea Kingdom, they wouldn’t just let it go like this. If someone comes from the East Sea Kingdom, you will be in trouble..."
"Father doesn't need to worry about this. I'll handle it myself." Yun Qianyue cut off the Cloud King's words as she wondered why everyone was suddenly reminding her that Rong Jing had a marriage agreement Were they worried she hadn’t heard the old emperor’s words in the grand hall
"If you can manage things yourself, Father is only afraid of hurting you. As the saying goes, the word 'love' wounds people most deeply." The Cloud King looked at Yun Qianyue without wanting to say more and sighed.
Yun Qianyue was taken aback and did not speak.
"The seventh prince is probably not so easy to deal with. You and Prince Jing should come up with a solution! It’s best to cancel both of your marriage agreements." After the old Cloud King finished speaking, he walked towards his father's courtyard without saying more.
"Father!" Yun Qianyue watched as the Cloud King took two steps before suddenly calling out and stopping him.
The Cloud King stopped in his tracks. He was somewhat delighted that this daughter of his had called out to stop him for the first time in all these years, revealing a smile involuntarily.
"Does Father remember mother" Yun Qianyue pressed her lips together and asked.
The old Cloud King was taken aback, showing sorrow on his face. "How could I forget Why are you suddenly asking about your mother"
"Yesterday didn’t the emperor mention Mother I suddenly thought of my mother." Yun Qianyue smiled and looked at the Cloud King. "Does Father remember what Mother looks like"
“How could I forget Your mother's appearance, I will never forget until death," said the Cloud King.
"Is there anything important for Father to ask Grandfather" Yun Qianyue asked again.
The Cloud King sighed and replied. "The imperial prince has been imprisoned in Heavenly Prison; after all, he was raised under your aunt’s name. I am afraid that Aunt will be implicated because of this and went to seek my father's opinion." The Cloud King explained: "Counting up, isn’t he also half my sister's child And especially since the investigation into this matter is carried out solely by the fourth prince. He was also raised under your aunt's name, which means it’s self-destruction."
"Father going to ask probably won't get anything!" Yun Qianyue glanced at him with a slight flash of her eyes. "Father might as well not go and ask. I just provoked Grandfather's anger, he is currently in a rage; wait until the storm blows over and then come again after Grandfather has cooled down!"
"You made your grandfather angry" The Cloud King was taken aback.
“Yeah, she doesn’t get happy when she sees me and has to scold me. Old geezer!” Yun Qianyue grumbled angrily.
“Your grandfather is only worried about you.” The Cloud King clearly feared the old Cloud King and turned around upon hearing what Yun Qianyue said, “Alright, I’ll wait until your grandfather has cooled down before going over.”
Yun Qianyue smiled. "Father can draw a portrait of my mother for me I know Father is also skilled in poetry and painting."
The Cloud King was taken aback, “You want a portrait of your mother”
"Yeah!" Yun Qianyue nodded. "I want to see Mother. It’s been such a long time that I don’t even remember what she looks like anymore. Since Father never forgets my mother until death, could you please draw me a portrait"
“This…” The Cloud King looked at Yun Qianyue and nodded his head. "Alright, follow me to the study!"
"Okay!" Yun Qianyue nodded.
The Cloud King changed direction and walked towards his study, while Yun Qianyue followed behind him.
A moment later, Yun Qianyue suddenly asked. "Father, can you tell me about my mother How did she marry you"
The Cloud King’s steps paused as he seemed to think for a moment before shaking his head. “That was such a long time ago, I have already forgotten it.”
"Forgot" Cloud Qianyue raised her eyebrows. "How could you forget that you married my mother This is one of the biggest happy events in life, isn't it There's no reason for you to forget this."
"That year I hit my head when trying to save the emperor and forgot some things after waking up," Cloud Marquess shook his head. "I feel ashamed."
Cloud Qianyue fell silent, so he had also hit his head before! She decided not to say anything more.
The distance between Cloud Marquess's study and the place they were was not too far. They soon arrived at the entrance of the study. When Green Twig heard footsteps, she came out from the study. Seeing that both Cloud Marquess and Cloud Qianyue had come together seemed to surprise her. She quickly greeted them.
Cloud Marquess waved his hand at Green Twig and said, "I will talk with Moon for a moment. You stay outside!"
"Yes, Your Excellency!" Green Twig nodded.
Cloud Qianyue looked at Green Twig before following Cloud Marquess into the study. The interior of the study was still as tidy and dust-free as it had been when he gave her three thousand secret guards last time. A faint fragrance of ink filled the air, making this study a comfortable place to relax in. This must be due to Green Twig's efforts.
After entering the study, Cloud Marquess went over to the desk and laid out paper. Cloud Qianyue walked over and automatically started grinding ink for him.
"Your mother was an extremely beautiful woman who was once the most beautiful woman in the world. Father always thought marrying her was his greatest achievement in life. Unfortunately, she left me too soon," said Cloud Marquess as he looked at Cloud Qianyue grinding ink with a somewhat melancholy tone. "Father has wronged you these years and made you suffer."
"All of that is in the past. Father doesn't need to mention it." Cloud Qianyue smiled.
Cloud Marquess nodded and sighed.
After grinding the ink for him, Cloud Qianyue returned the inkstone to Cloud Marquess who then picked up his brush and started drawing on the paper. But when his pen touched the paper, he paused, unable to continue. Looking at him, Cloud Qianyue saw that he was frowning deeply and asked while tilting her head, "Father, what's wrong"
Cloud Marquess shook his head and tried again but as ink spread on the paper, he seemed uncertain of how to proceed. He paused for a moment, looking at both the paper and pen in confusion. After a moment, he looked up at Cloud Qianyue with an extremely guilty face. "Qianyue, Father..."
"You can't draw it" Cloud Qianyue raised her eyebrows.
"Yes!" Cloud Marquess nodded.
"Why Aren't you supposed to never forget my mother until your death" Cloud Qianyue's brows rose even higher.
"That's right, I won't ever forget your mother. But whenever I try hard to recall her, she becomes very vague in my mind. Now when I want to draw her, she is more indistinct than before. I can barely see her face clearly so I just can't draw it." Cloud Marquess looked pained.
Cloud Qianyue watched him for a moment then smiled faintly. "Father doesn't need to think about this. If you can't draw, you can't draw. You did say that your injury caused brain damage earlier on so naturally it's hard for you now. And after all these years since my mother passed away, it's normal for you not to be able to draw her."
Cloud Marquess put down his brush and looked at Cloud Qianyue with guilt. "Father really is as your grandfather said, unable to do anything right."
"Not necessarily! Father has already done quite well actually. If it weren't for you, there would be no Cloud Marquess. These years have been very difficult and tiring for you supporting the Cloud Manor." Comforting him with a gentle tone, Cloud Qianyue said.
Cloud Marquess's eyes welled up with tears as he reached out to touch her head. "Qianyue has finally grown up. Father was wrong all these years and didn't live up to your mother's expectations."
"Father loves Mother too much, no matter how many women there are in this manor, Mother always holds the most important position in your heart," Cloud Qianyue said while smiling, holding his wrist.
"That's right, nobody can replace her place," Cloud Marquess nodded.
Cloud Qianyue let go of him and looked at the exhausted but still determined expression on his face. She expressed her concern kindly, "Father needs to take care of yourself, you didn't sleep last night did you Go back to your quarters for a rest! Even if something happens in heaven, it won't collapse. Don't worry, I'll be here!"
"Yes! Father is indeed quite tired!" Cloud Marquess nodded and carefully looked at her before saying, "You didn't rest either while taking care of the Viscount overnight, go get some sleep too."
"Alright," Cloud Qianyue glanced at the ink that was spread on the paper and nodded.
After leaving Cloud Marquess's study, Cloud Qianyue stopped in front of Green Twig. She smiled at her and said, "It has been quite hard for you to manage the manor with Jade Bracelet recently, hasn't it Is everything going smoothly"
"No problems so far, Miss Qianyue!" Green Twig shook her head.
"Great! With you and the jade bracelet here, I feel at ease!" Yun Qianyue yawned and stepped toward Qianyue Pavilion.
A long time after she had left Crown Prince Yun's study, Yun Qianyue suddenly leaned against a column on the corridor. She recalled that she used to be distant with Crown Prince Yun and never cared about his health. Now that she had just taken his pulse, she realized he was similarly afflicted by the Phoenix Tribulation as her. However, the nature of his tribulation was different from hers; instead of being locked in memory like hers, it seemed more like his memories were altered or blurred. This would explain why he appeared to remember certain things yet struggled to articulate them—such as remembering and loving her mother deeply, even though he could not draw a portrait of her.
She wondered if the old emperor had noticed over the years that Crown Prince Yun was merely someone whose memories were altered. Perhaps he wasn't really Crown Prince Yun. The old emperor probably hadn’t discovered it; otherwise, why wouldn’t he have taken action
She suddenly admired whoever had changed his memory—it must be a master at it. Was it her mother Or could it be the Southern Liang country’s grandmaster, her father Regardless, such an act was done flawlessly. If not for her taking his pulse, she would never have believed it possible. To alter someone's memories to this extent and make everything they do logical, even their coldness toward her as a daughter turning into concern and worry—every emotion fitting its place perfectly.
She suddenly felt like laughing.
"Miss, why are you standing here" Ling Lian’s voice suddenly echoed.
Hearing the sound, Yun Qianyue turned around to see Ling Lian and Yi Xue hurrying toward her. She looked at them and remembered they had accompanied her to the imperial palace yesterday; she had forgotten about them after bringing Rong Jing back to the Honor王府. With a slight frown, she asked, "Where did you two go"
"Yesterday, we followed Miss to the Honor王府, waiting for hours without seeing your return. We then returned home. This morning, we went again, and Rong Jing’s personal maid informed us that Miss had come back. So we came back." Ling Lian replied.
Yun Qianyue nodded and rubbed her forehead, saying to both of them, "Let's go; let's return to the Qianyue Pavilion." Ling Lian and Yi Xue nodded in agreement and followed Yun Qianyue. After walking a little way, seeing Yun Qianyue silent all along, Ling Lian asked, "Miss, how is Rong Jing’s injury"
"He can't die!" Yun Qianyue rolled her eyes; he wasn’t injured at all! How could it be serious
Ling Lian continued, "Yesterday, we couldn’t enter the Purple Bamboo Grove and had to wait in the front hall. We saw many people from Honor王府 rushing there upon hearing that Rong Jing was wounded. Now they say he is still unconscious; it's rumored he was hit by poison darts which damaged his tendons and bones, causing a cold poison to flare up, endangering his life."
"Ha, really knows how to create an uproar." Yun Qianyue laughed, seeing the worried look in Ling Lian’s and Yi Xue’s eyes. She waved her hand dismissively, "He's fine, not that serious; just a scratch."
Ling Lian and Yi Xue looked at each other and nodded.
"Right! Tomorrow, South Ling Rui will return to the capital. Tell Hua Sheng and order Hong Pavilion to send people to escort him back to Southern Liang; make sure nothing goes wrong and he returns unscathed." Yun Qianyue reminded them of South Ling Rui's imminent return.
"Miss, you’re using Red Pavilion for Prince Rui This is your first time using it!" Ling Lian was surprised.
Yi Xue also looked at Yun Qianyue in astonishment.
"You heard correctly! Indeed, we’ll use Red Pavilion to escort South Ling Rui." Seeing they were alone, Yun Qianyue seriously told them, lowering her voice: "South Ling Rui is my brother and my mother's son. She can't have anything happen to him."
Ling Lian and Yi Xue immediately opened their eyes wide.
"You don’t need to ask why; just remember this. Everyone in Red Pavilion must be reminded of it." Yun Qianyue emphasized solemnly, "He mustn't suffer any loss."
"Yes, Miss, you can rest assured!" Ling Lian and Yi Xue nodded seriously.
"Will Red Pavilion have no trouble dealing with the old emperor’s secret guards" Yun Qianyue asked them.
“Red Pavilion has always been secretive; over these years we’ve had no activity, so the imperial family's secret guards can't track us. But we've observed their activities closely for many years and understand their operating style well. Miss, you may rest assured—once Red Pavilion acts, it will ensure Prince Rui’s safety." Ling Lian said.
"Alright! That's good. Perhaps Ye Tianyi might act too; Red Pavilion must be prepared for any eventuality," Yun Qianyue added.
Ling Lian and Yi Xue nodded in unison.
Yun Qianyue did not speak further, walking toward the Qianyue Pavilion. She turned past two corridors to see a figure standing at the entrance of Qianyue Pavilion, dressed as Yun王府’s chief steward—Cloud Li. She briefly pondered and continued her way forward.
"Miss Qianyue!" Seeing Yun Qianyue approach, Cloud Li hurriedly greeted her.
Yun Qianyue smiled and waved her hand, asking, "Is there anything"
Cloud Li looked around but did not speak.
"Come inside and talk!" Yun Qianyue glanced at him before stepping into the room.
Yun Li immediately followed her. Ling Lian and Yi Xue exchanged a look but did not follow in.
Once they entered the room, Yun Qianyue pointed to the chair beside the table and lazily curled up on the soft couch. Yun Li didn't sit down and instead stood in the middle of the room looking at Yun Qianyue. Yun Qianyue raised an eyebrow at him. After hesitating for a moment, he said, "Miss Qianyue, I heard about the banquet matter. You asked me to..."
"Oh! Are you talking about my proposal that Father should acknowledge you as his son when my brother becomes the consort of Southern Border and the Crown Prince position at Yun王府 will be vacant Is it" Yun Qianyue smiled at Yun Li.
“Yes!” Yun Li nodded.
"If you hadn't come to me, I would have brought up this matter anyway." Yun Qianyue smiled.
The color on Yun Li's face changed slightly.
"Are you willing or unwilling" Yun Qianyue observed the changes in his expression. Seeing him silent, she arched her eyebrows and asked, "You're not willing"
Yun Li shook his head then nodded. After a moment, he said in a low voice, “I fear I won't be able to do it.”
"No one is born knowing how to eat, dress, make the bed or tidy up. No one comes out of the womb knowing how to read and write or do things. No one is naturally born fit to become an emperor or a prince; no one is inherently suited to be a crown prince," Yun Qianyue looked at Yun Li clearly seeing his unease and timidity. She thought that although Yun Li was talented, because of the peripheral branch’s status in the Yun family, he had been living in poverty-stricken Yun City. He wrote "Ode to the江山" but due to what Prince Xiaoxing said, Emperor Taizong stripped him of all his efforts. It must have hit him hard. Now that an opportunity has come for him to rise from obscurity, he seems reluctant.
Yun Li stared blankly at Yun Qianyue.
"We share the same surname, and we are descendants of a common ancestor; our bones may break but still be connected by sinews. You're two years older than me, so you're my brother. After all, I'm a woman. The hundred-year prosperity of the Yun family cannot come to an end just because one person leaves. Therefore, if you have great ambitions, I am willing to build a bridge for you." Yun Qianyue looked at Yun Li with a faint smile on her face, "Of course, if you don't want it, others will take your place. In any case, the Yun family is still the Yun family."
Yun Li fell silent.
"You needn't be afraid or think that you can't do it. If you don’t wish to spend your whole life in mediocrity, this is a chance for you. Seize it; perhaps you'll soar upwards or perhaps you’ll end up crushed. After all, the glory of your status and the responsibilities you bear are proportional to the darkness behind that glory. But whether you soar upwards or get crushed, without a doubt, you will be memorialized in Yun family temple after a hundred years. Perhaps even recorded in Tian Sheng’s history books under the name 'Crown Prince Yun Li'." Yun Qianyue looked at Yun Li and continued, "If you don't seize this chance, then perhaps you won’t have another such opportunity for the rest of your life. Sometimes opportunities only come once."
Yun Li suddenly raised his head and stared straight into Yun Qianyue's eyes, “I’m willing!”
A smile suddenly appeared on Yun Qianyue’s face. Great men have lofty aspirations; having ambition isn’t wrong. She smiled as she nodded her head and softly called him "elder brother!"
Yun Li turned red and lowered his head.
"I forgot to tell grandpa about this when I came out of his courtyard just now, but that old man’s ears are sharp; he probably already knows. So I'll send someone with you to see him later so that he can personally instruct you," Yun Qianyue looked at Yun Li and thought to herself: If Yun Li becomes the future Crown Prince of the Yun family, will he still be as bashful as now After all, power can erode many things.
"Yes!" Yun Li nodded.
Yun Qianyue thought there wasn't anything else to discuss. So she called out to Ling Lian from outside the room, "Ling Lian, take Yun Li公子to my grandfather and tell him that he should not hold back but impart all his skills. This is a hope for the future of the Yun family. If his old man wants to let down our ancestors, just leave it."
"Yes, Miss!" Ling Lian immediately responded.
"Go then! Grandpa likes scolding people; you’ll get used to it soon!" Yun Qianyue smiled at Yun Li and waved her hand.
Yun Li nodded his head and turned around to leave the room. Seeing that Yun Li had left, Ling Lian immediately followed him out of Shallow Moon Pavilion.
